Pro customers have always been important to HPM. After all, Hawaii Planing Mill was co-founded in 1921 by a carpenter, Kametaro Fujimoto when he recognized the need for a more dependable supply of lumber on the Big Island. The professional builder continues to be HPM’s focus.
Our owner-employees strive each day to find ways to make you successful and to enjoy your tough and so very honorable profession. To assist you we have one of the largest supplies of lumber, engineered wood products and core building materials in the State. In addition we locally manufacture trusses, wall panels, metal roofing, flashing and pre-hung doors.
