Winter Colors –in Hawaii?

Sure we live in paradise where we normally see more warm yellows and greens outdoors, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy some cool colors in our homes. Who knows, maybe with the right mix we’ll even be able to turn down the fans and ACs a notch!

Benjamin Moore, one of our premier paint lines (eclusive to HPM on the Big Island!) is known for its leadership in color design. Here’s an exerpt from one of their latest postings:

Benjamin Moore Winter Colors

We might not light the fire, but in Hawaii we can still enjoy these cool Benjamin Moore colors

Winter is here and with it come five luminous color schemes that embrace the season’s show-stopping beauty. Inspired by first flurries and crackling log fires, our multi-hued mix shares a classic, cozy yet sophisticated sensibility.

Whether you opt for a crisp, cool pairing of contemporary colors or one that evokes the winter warmth of hearth and home, these imaginative combinations will transform your space and give you one more reason to welcome the winter season.

Welcome Winter – This crisp color palette highlighted by anjou pear (AF-425) feels modern and stylish, with a sophisticated, urban vibe.

Winter Romance – Like the instant warmth of a blazing fire, this cozy, contemporary color palette relies on classic cream to unite the rich, romantic red of bricktone red (2005-30) with a grounding dose of deep gray.

Let It Snow  – Evoking the season’s first snowfall, this pretty pairing of soft gray and frosty blue sets a serene winter stage. The anchoring depth of stone brown (2112-30) lends an overall look that’s classic yet fresh.

Warm Up Winter – Rich and lush without feeling too heavy, this fresh palette of deep gray-green sparrow (AF-720) walls paired with a pop of creamy trim warms up a winter day.
