Our designers also demonstrate cabinet features such as full extension drawers that allow users to pull the cabinet drawers completely out instead of only three-quarters of the way, enabling access to the full contents of the drawer. Self-closing features, where the doors and drawers literally close by themselves, are also a hit with customers.
All of the cabinets available at HPM are made of solid wood, which is significant in Hawaii where humidity often causes particle board to deteriorate. “The difference in price is about 10 to 15 percent” says Carter. “It’s not much more when you’re making an investment in new cabinetry.”
