No matter how big you think your new kitchen will be, it is never big enough. That’s why it’s important to have the help of experts, to maximize the space available.
Our Cabinet Design Consultants help customers focus on the functional aspects before deciding on the materials and stain colors. “It is very important that each cabinet’s function makes the customer’s life easy,” says HPM Kona’s Barbie Carter.
Our designers also demonstrate cabinet features such as full extension drawers that allow users to pull the cabinet drawers completely out instead of only three-quarters of the way, enabling access to the full contents of the drawer. Self-closing features, where the doors and drawers literally close by themselves, are also a hit with customers. To get an idea of what some of these features and finishes might look like, take a peek at our online Cabinet Design Gallery which features a selection of our inspiring showroom displays.
All of the cabinets available at HPM are made of solid wood, which is significant in Hawaii where humidity often causes particle board to deteriorate. “The difference in price is about 10 to 15 percent” says Carter. “It’s not much more when you’re making an investment in new cabinetry.”
